How to Move Files from Local PC to Remote Desktop

1. While in your Remote Desktop Double Click your Home folder Icon. In this example below it will be the “RDS.Test” on your desktop it will have your name.

2. While still in your Remote Desktop select the “Restore Down” from the Blue Bar at the top of the page. This will put your remote desktop in a windowed mode with your local pc desktop in the background.

3. On your local PC select the files you want to move by holding the “Control” key on your keyboard and left clicking an icon. This will incrementally select the files you would like to move.

 

4. Once you have selected the files you want to move right click one of the selected files and choose “Copy” or “Cut” depending on your preference.

5. Now Right Click on the “Restored Down” Remote Desktop where your “Home Folder” is and select “Paste”

6. Your Files will them move over to the home folder of your remote desktop.
